This incident caused the partial shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 car park.

An additional two individuals are now in custody in connection with a theft at London's Heathrow Airport in which 21 people were injured by what is thought to be pepper spray, as stated by police.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in Lambeth for suspected robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. They both are still being held, the force said.

The arrests come after an investigation into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the incident, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their suitcases upon exiting a car park lift.

A toddler aged three was among the injured in the event. A total of five individuals went to hospital for medical care and were later discharged.

Officers detained a 31-year-old man on suspicion of robbery and assault near the location. He has since been released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.

Authorities were called at about 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding a number of individuals injured by a noxious substance thought to be pepper spray.

The attack - which authorities stated was a standalone incident and not being treated as terrorism - caused delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park for a short time.
