The UK is set to progress with using the entire amount of seized Russia's funds to support the Ukrainian military campaign, Leader Sir Keir Starmer has announced.

In a joint statement, the leaders of the UK, France, and the Federal Republic of Germany asserted that this unified step would heighten pressure on Russian President Vladimir Putin and persuade Moscow to participate in talks.

They further noted that the initiative would be executed in close cooperation with the America.

UK sanctions have frozen over £25bn of Russia's funds since Russia initiated its widespread offensive against Ukraine in 2022. Yet, until now, funds sent to the Ukrainian government using Russia's funds had solely been drawn from gains and dividends accrued on them.

Sir Keir informed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that the United Kingdom, France, and the Federal Republic of Germany were in agreement in their goal to drive progress toward employing the total worth of the seized Moscow's national holdings to conclude the conflict.

He stated that more measures in the coming days and weeks would apply more pressure on Moscow.

This declaration is subsequent to European Union officials met in the Danish capital recently to discuss employing seized Russia's holdings for a €140 billion loan to Ukraine.

Last month, American leader Donald Trump called on Group of Seven partners to confiscate or utilize seized Russia's funds, according to reports.

The worth of immobilized Russia's funds in the Europe is calculated to be nearly €211bn.

President Zelensky urges Britain's Sir Keir Starmer to join the weapons procurement program

Russia executed extensive missile and drone strikes all over the Ukrainian territory on that day, causing electricity outages in significant regions of Kyiv, Kyiv, and multiple additional areas.
